On sponsorship, paid links and guest posts
We do not sell links, sponsored articles, guest posts or product placement, and we do not accept payment in exchange for coverage. This is not a negotiating position — it is the entire reason the publication is worth reading. Enquiries of that kind will not receive a reply, and no offence is intended by the silence.
If you want to tell us about something genuinely interesting your company is doing, that is a different email and a very welcome one. Send it to the editors.
Pitching us
We commission a small number of freelance pieces a year. What works: reported stories about how travel actually gets delivered, with real operators and real numbers in them. What does not: destination round-ups, "top ten" formats, and anything that reads like it was written from a press release.
Send a paragraph on the idea, a line on why you are the person to write it, and two examples of published work. Please do not send finished drafts on spec — we would rather shape it with you.
Reader questions
The question we get most often is some version of "we have twenty-odd people going somewhere, who do we actually hire?" — and we have written the long answer to that so we can stop writing it individually. Start with the guide to destination management companies, then the vetting checklist. If your situation is not covered there, write to us and it may well become an article.

A note on the newsletter form
This site is a static publication with no tracking beyond basic server logs. The subscribe form does not yet post anywhere — connect it to your email provider before launch, or point it at a mailto address in the meantime.
